FUNCTIONS

Renovated in 2009, Crowdy Head Surf Lifesaving Club has a function space overlooking the beautiful Crowdy Bay, Beach and National Park, with views all the way north to Diamond Head.

Available from April through to October it’s perfect for weddings, conferences, meetings, training seminars, group functions and special events.

If you are considering holding your wedding at our venue, you are welcome to visit and inspect our premises any Sunday of the season after 1.00pm, when our Sunday Sippers Bar is open (from the end of September through until ANZAC day).

ABOUT OUR FACILITY

Our facilities include furniture, multimedia presentation system, seating for up to 120 guests and uninterrupted water views. Our club has commercial kitchen facilities for caterer’s use.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

Depending on the type of function, a typical hire includes all of the following:

  • Access the day prior to your function for setup
  • Pre- and post-event cleaning
  • Tables and chairs
  • Use of commercial kitchen for catering use
  • Fully licensed bar, with bar and security staff (dry till/tab available)
  • Multimedia presentation system (projector with large projector screen, computer input and PA system with cordless microphone, second, independent microphone/speaker, plus an additional flat screen tv/monitor)
  • Lift access
  • Saturday and Sunday hire only
  • fabulous water views and use of the full-length balcony, and
  • seating for up to 120 guests

We do NOT supply:

  • Catering/servers
  • Decorations
  • Entertainment
  • Crockery, cutlery, tablecloths and napkins, etc.

Important information

  • Should you wish to hold your ceremony on or around the grounds/beach outside of the club house, you must contact Mid Coast Council to gain approval https://www.midcoast.nsw.gov.au/Services/Facilities-and-venues/Booking-a-Council-Venue
  • The club is run by volunteers who have outside employment – we are not a fulltime function centre.
  • All applications for hire must be presented to the CHSLSC Executive Committee for acceptance before the wedding date can be confirmed.
  • Generally, the hire includes use of the function centre for up to 6 hours. Music and alcohol supply will cease by 10.30pm, and the room must be vacated and secured by 11.00 pm at the latest.

POLICIES

Once the committee approves your booking enquiry, please complete our Function Room Hire agreement and forward it to Crowdy Head SLSC, P.O. Box 50, HARRINGTON, NSW 2427 with the required deposit.  

This must be received within 14 days of your enquiry to complete your booking. Cancellations of bookings are non-refundable.

Our facilities are not available for hire for 18th, 21st or similar functions. All prices are subject to change. Please note that GST will be added for hire rates.

Just so you know, our phone is answered when the caretaker is in residence or if someone is upstairs near the bar. It isn't accessible from the Patrol Tower.
